The first of our monthly community markets in Fortrose Town Hall. Those who already enjoy the local food and crafts on offer at the existing Black Isle community markets will need no introduction to this. For those who haven't tried them, come along, buy great quality local produce, meet the suppliers, have a chat with us about what's going on, meet friends and have a cuppa at the Seaforth Hall next door.

Report
The first of our monthly community markets in Fortrose Town Hall last Saturday was a great success. TBI vice-convenor Martin Sherring, to whom thanks are due both for his own hard work and for mobilising and encouraging other volunteers in getting the market up and running, commented:
"By all accounts, the market today was pretty special, it was mobbed!"
Thanks are are also due to Rachael Macgregor, who took on the job of market organiser originally as part of her placement with Home Energy Scotland. and whom we hope may be able to continue longer term as market organiser for TBI.
For information about future Fortrose markets email Rachael MacGregor at fortrosemarket@transitionblackisle.org
Here are some of Martin's pictures. Lots more here.
